Freedom! has been on the net since 1999 as a resource for the TSR/Wizards of the Coast
role-playing game 'Dark Sun' which was discontinued from 1996 - 2010. In typical Dark Sun manner, the system was
resurrected and seems to have gotten more vicious than ever...
Freedom! supplies miscellaneous bits of inspiration to add to what is officially published. It is presented as
system-less as possible, merely offering a few stats guidelines so you can adapt it to whatever gaming system you run, whether
it's 2e, 3e, 3.5e, 4e, Pathfinder... or something completely different!
Most of what is presented here are adaptations of material from a long-running campaign which I DM,
other material is inspired by Wintergreen's campaign in which I am a player. There are are also a few 'official' things,
hosted from other websites or competition entries that became published in athas.org material. These - and collaborative work -
are usually marked as such.
